A Brief Profile About Shadow

        Shadow is a beautiful, strong, and powerful Heylin warrior, from the popular series, Xiaolin Chronicles. Long ago, she was created from one of Chase Young's rib, and had aged immediately to a young adult on a scallop shell (Note: the fact that he created her from one of his ribs is a reference to the story of Adam of Eve, and the fact that she aged from a scallop shell is a reference to the Greek Goddess Aphrodite). Seeing that creating Shadow was a success, Chase Young decided to take her in as his apprentice.

        Both of them have a very close relationship, and communicate very well telepathically. It has been hinted so far in the series that both of them are in love with each other. Shadow is very loyal to him and she's always by his side. Chase Young has noted that she is quite the romantic, and that is what he enjoys most about her. He considers her to be his promise, his hope, and his future. He hopes one day he'll  rule the world with her side by side.  Shadow has similar personality traits of Chase Young, for she is a female clone of him. Both of them are prideful, power hungry,  a bit sadistic, and calculating. Because they have a similar personality, both of them have the same opinion on nearly everything and are able to get along so well.

      Since she is a Heylin warrior, she possesses many powers and abilities. Here is a list of all of her powers and abilities that have been revealed so far in the series:

• Heylin Magic:
 Shadow was a notable user of the Heylin Magic and she had several magical abilities like:

• Shapeshifting:
 She could change her appearance, to transform into a  beautiful Caucasian, blue eyed girl named Willow.

Snow Manipulation:

 She could manipulate the snow, able to duplicate a snowball, into two snowballs, and increase their pressure.

• Telepathy:
 She could talk telepathically with Chase.

• Shen Gong Wu Emulation:
 She could emulate the ability of the Shen Gong Wu that she has used. For example, she could use her hair like the Medusa Comb and she could cause Kimiko to remain "wuzzy" when she was about to reveal her true identity.

• Size Alteration:
 She could change the size of people, objects or even her own size, either through green beams or by producing a black smoke.

• Teleportation:
 She could use her hair to teleportate herself along with others.

• Shadow Mimicry:
 She could transform into a big shadow that Ping Pong described as "la femme brune".

• Shadow Hiding:
 She could hide in the shadows and use them as a form of teleportation.

• Superhuman Strength
: She could grab Dojo in his giant form by his tail and swing him ease. However she was not as strong as Chase.

• Expert Martial Artist:
 She was very good at martial arts, but not as good as the Xiaolin Monks, Chase or Wuya (in her human form).

• Attractive Female:
 Like Wuya, she could use her beauty to lure the males into a false sense of security, so that she could manipulate them.
